Ability to model safe, responsible, legal and ethical use of technology and implement school and district acceptable use policies including fair-use and copyright guidelines and Internet user protection policies.
By using this presentation, I was able to impart knowledge of safe, responsible, legal, and ethical uses of technologies to my students. Now both my students and I am aware and understand technological issues such as fair-use and copyright guidelines. Protection for both the user and equipment were addressed in my research about technology safety and can also be found in this presentation. As an educator, I am very mindful of these standards as my students and I use technology as a complement to traditional classroom teaching.
